Service Description

GeneSight Genetic testing looks at finding the solution for an individual based off of the analysis of genes involved when your body processes certain medications. Every individual responds differently to medications. What works for one individual may not be beneficial for another. We perform a genetic drug sensitivity test to ensure that the medication we prescribe will be effective and safe for you. Studies have shown that with the help of GeneSight, patients are more likely to respond to the medicine selected through the genetic testing with the least amount of side effects. Genetic testing is helpful for those people who have tried a number of different medications unsuccessfully.

Cancellation Policy

Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants requires at least a 24 hours advance notice for reschedules or cancellations.  Cancellations after 24 business hours prior to the appointment but before the appointment time will result in a late cancel fee.  Patients who do not call prior to missing their appointment will be charged a no-call no-show fee. We understand that some situation may arise, however 3 no shows will result in termination of treatment with Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants, PLLC.    Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants does NOT double book appointments to insure patients are seen in a timely fashion. When appointments are not canceled 24 hours in advance, there is not enough time to schedule another patient during that appointment time.
