Medication Management

Service Description

Our goal is treat patients with the least amount of medication possible and eliminate medications that are no longer necessary. These visits last 15-30 minutes, depending on your needs, the services being provided, and the individual practitioner. We will evaluate the effectiveness of the medication along with your current symptoms, goals and coping strategies, and make any adjustments to medication regimens that may be needed. Medications are not changed outside of scheduled appointments. Medication management appointments are combined with psychotherapy for optimal results. Research shows that a combination of these treatment modalities produces the greatest benefits in mental health care. Brief supportive and interpersonal therapy is offered during follow ups. We avoid overbooking and gives me more time to respond to your needs.

Cancellation Policy

Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants requires at least a 24 hours advance notice for reschedules or cancellations.  Cancellations after 24 business hours prior to the appointment but before the appointment time will result in a late cancel fee.  Patients who do not call prior to missing their appointment will be charged a no-call no-show fee. We understand that some situation may arise, however 3 no shows will result in termination of treatment with Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants, PLLC.    Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants does NOT double book appointments to insure patients are seen in a timely fashion. When appointments are not canceled 24 hours in advance, there is not enough time to schedule another patient during that appointment time.
