Service Description

Telepsychiatry is the process of utilizing videoconferencing technology to provide health care from a distance. This involves providing a range of services including psychiatric evaluations, medication management and counseling via telecommunications technology such as videoconferencing or virtual visits. Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants provides telepsychiatry services via HIPPA compliant videoconferencing. These virtual visits provide a convenient and more accessible way for patients to receive mental health treatment, whether you are mobile-challenged, lack transportation, have travel time constraints or for any reason that makes it difficult getting to our office. • You must be a resident in the State of Texas and consent to Telepsychiatry services • We will send you a link to your email or phone. • Must have access to an internet connection • Remember to enable your microphone and camera

Cancellation Policy

Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants requires at least a 24 hours advance notice for reschedules or cancellations.  Cancellations after 24 business hours prior to the appointment but before the appointment time will result in a late cancel fee.  Patients who do not call prior to missing their appointment will be charged a no-call no-show fee. We understand that some situation may arise, however 3 no shows will result in termination of treatment with Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants, PLLC.    Wellness Point Psychiatry Consultants does NOT double book appointments to insure patients are seen in a timely fashion. When appointments are not canceled 24 hours in advance, there is not enough time to schedule another patient during that appointment time.
